Apparently, this little device "R4 Revolution" let you play games downloaded from internet filesharing sites for free. It is essentially a memory card with an adapter that plugs directly into slot 1. You can save all your legit and pirated games in R4, and they will play beautifully on DS. It also allows small developers to develop games for Nintendo DS and sell them without paying Nintendo a fee. A developer friend showed this to me when I ran into him in Brazil. He uses it just for developing his own games, but I figure a lot of people must use it only for play pirated games. It is probably going to be illegal in the U.S. soon, but it is really nifty. I wonder if similar stuff for Xbox and PS3 exist?
