I like a variety of things:

Halo, GTA, and Full Metal Alchemist are all great: intense and bloody.
Wii tennis is a lot of light hearted fun. I love Super Mario, too.
Call of Duty is nice, but overall, war strategy games on PC are better than on game consoles. Maybe PS3 and Xbox 360 plus a big TV can solve that problem.

On PC: Total War series is great, especially the first one in Japan; Total War: Rome is cool, too.
Civilization is the PC game I loved back in high school. They just got the latest version out on PS3, but I have not tried it yet.

Oh shit. Points for putting Chrono Trigger on there. :3

As of now, I've been obsessed with translated bootleg versions of never-before-released-in-the-US games for the NES, like Mother (or Earthbound 0) and Sweet Home.

Ommgggg I love Sweet Home so much <3 <3 <3

Besides that I'm a bigtime Silent Hill fan. I cannot wait until SH:Homecoming comes out on the 30th of September. :D

Any Shin Megami Tensei fans up in this shit?

Thanks for points for Chrono Trigger, I believe that, that series, along with its sequel, died out too soon. Square decided to do more with Final Fantasy then keep that one alive. Hence why we have a POS sequel (FFX-2) and so many spin offs of one, (FF7)

I think Silent Hill is an amazing series, I just hope they make better games, cuz up through 3 were really good. $ on have been less then staisfying.

Also, I don't know that series you're asking about, sorry!

Old favourite games:

For PC: Medal of Honor (series), Civilisation Chronicles (Complete CIVs 1,2,3 and 4), Soldiers, Pirates, 1944 Battle of the Bulge and Monkey Island (series)

For XBOX: Wings of War, Enclave, Tiger Woods PGA tour 2004 and 2005, Call of Duty 2, Halo and Half Life 2

Newer favourite games:

For XBOX 360: Halo 3, Call of Duty 3

My XBOX 360 is connected up to a 37inch LCD TV and the gameplay is a tad awesome..... :)

Ok, I'm really depressed that nobody here's heard of Shin Megami Tensei.

Basically, it's the best RPG franchise like ever. It's for those of you who like Final Fantasy but want to grow up.

Final Fantasy with an M rating, basically. They're all amazing, but only a handful are out over here, being Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga Part 1 and Part 2, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha Vs. The Soulless Army, Persona 3 (and the FES version) and now Persona 4 as of today in the states.

They are all amazing games, and if you want time consuming, get Persona 3 FES. I've put over 100 hours into the main story before I finished it and at least 10 into the second plotline that's only in FES and I'm still working on that second plot. IT'S LONG.

Hello Gentlemen

Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy are also my favourites.
Tomb Raider series is also a must as well as a little gem of a PS2 game called Summoner.
Online games include WoW and EVE......just for the shear size and longevity of them.
Retro games include Wonder boy series and 1942/1943.......many a hard earnd coin was feed to these beasts. Zelda and the Super Mario series also need a mention.

kay thats awsome i never even thought to look for a gamers group. just kinda stumbled apon it! yeah final fantasy series7-12 (except11) is coo! i really like fighting games like the old-school ones like street fighter alpha vs mavel, newer onse like the later soul calibers, super heroes! anythng based on superheroes marvel or dc dosn't matter! and i am a master at dragonballz budokai tenkiachi 2! rpg's in general do it for me, heavenly sword was real nice! i'll try any game, but those are the only type i'd buy befor playing them at a buddies or somthing. i left alot of my fave's out but the list is too long!
