Yeah I know a lot of people think that those two words dont go together, but I am living proof that it is possible. I was just wondering if there are others on this site that are gay Christians. I have found a few sites that support this idea, such as: GayChristians.net and Christiangays.com
Maybe someone else has found other sites, and i would love to hear from you if you do. Thanks for reading this ;) and look forward to hearing from future friends :D
Firstly, I am a gay Christian and am proud of it. What i seem to see around the gay community is that due to the attacks they get from all the "devout" christians, is so harsh that they feel it to better to be atheist but still acknowledging God as as their creator so that they can spared of public scrutiny about their faith.
How great to meet up on this site - and to meet a fellow Christian. My personal opinion, and this has been garnered after many years of debate, discussion and personal reflection and prayer - God loves gay guys and gals as much as any other person. I feel that gay people are put under enormous pressure from the established church to conform to "normal" standards. I believe too that God looks upon that attitude with distaste; He made us as we are and who are we to question His creation. Since being in the most amazing relationship withthe most amazing guy, my relationship with God has deepened - the inner turmoil of having to conform to a world that is foreign to my sexual orientation is gone - I am free to be me. Why should we allow others to dictate to us about how we should feel, respond and react to just because we have a different sexual attraction? C'mon, stand up and be who you were created to be! God loves you just as you are!
How cool to o to be able to share with other Christian gay guys love for the Word and for our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's fellowship together in dignity and love for each other.
Blessings
Bruce

I believe that you can balance god and being gay in your life because personally I can't leave him out of my life with out it being balanced. I know its possible to be gay and be a Christian believer. My family doesn't think so but I know I am gay and I know I love god with all my heart and I have come to grasp in my life that it is possible. I would also love to meet others as well but I live in Alaska and sometimes this is hard. Write me back!!! -Christopher
As a firm believer in our Lord Jersus Christ and one who knows the power of God in his life, I am thrilled to make your acquaintence. I love the Lord with passion and struggled with my sexual orientation for many years. I thank God daily for releasing me from the stuggle to be something and someone I wasn't. I too come from a strongly Christian background with both parents diametrically opposed to homosexuality. Yet, knowing my orientation they loved me for who I am. I believe strongly that as gay men we need to espouse a positive moral integrity, be witnesses to the power of God in our lives and live lives that honour and magnify His saving presence. I am in an amzing relationship mwith the most wonderful man ever and we seek to be witnesses to God's amazing grace in our lives together. I would love to chat more with you and get to know you better. Pleae email me at bruce36@iburst.co.za and we can take our friendship from there.
Blessings tom you in abundance

Hi there im the Reverend Peter Abraham im an openly gay clergyman. The church is now becoming more excepting of homosexuals working and worshopind in mainstreal denominational churches. In my church i welcome all types of people gay or strait. God loves us all no matter who we are.
Thanks for your response - it is refreshing to see OPENLY gay clergy standing up for our belief. God looks upon the heart and the intentions of our actions - continue with your good work
Hi thanks for replying. Sorry about the spelling lol. I think alot more clergy should be standing up for what they beleive in both as a priest of the church and as a gay man or woman. After all we are the people who alot of people both strait turn to for support, guidence and someone to look upto. I tell my congregation that God is love not hate and he loves everyone.
