LOL - been watching a programme on NG recently where a woman from England has mapped faces, her conclusion is the prettier you are the better uyou do in life. What was even more frightning was that she said in a few years with so much face surgery, and even total face transplants as they are doing right now in France, the class system as we know it will dissapear to make way for a new system of those who had facial enhancements to those who don't... Sad world we live in.
To answer your question: I am totally against fake pics, and I tend to take pics of myself in places where you can see its not fake, and thus when I chat to someone new in cyberspace (which you must never forget is fake) I look at the background of the pic and the quality of it, photoshop can do wonders but in the hands of an amateur, you can spot the fake ones a mile away... LOL
PS: It also helps to look at alot of naked or semi naked pics on the net, you will be surprised to see how many "profile" pics get right click save as...

There isn't really a practical solution from an admin point of view... its more a case of buyer beware :P
I finally figured out how to add photos other than the profile pic today so have added a few more - all of me...

its pretty obvious which profiles are fake. you can spot them a mile off with their magazine shoot style photos and stats too good to be true.
Nothing really anyone can do about it I guess, just be cautious when chatting. If some people get off on chatting to clearly fake personalities and looks online then more power to them, I just find it kinda sad really.

Well, for one, it would REALLY help if the admins or whoever manages the front page of the site didn't fill the MEMBERS box with only the studliest of the studliest.
I mean, it's fucking annoying. I want to be featured on there simply because I'm a cool person (or, at least, I think I am) and the fact that it's only for studly people probably makes people upload fake pics for the thrill of being featured on the front page.
I personally think that the whole members box is absolutely retarded. If we wanted to see members, couldn't we click on the members tab at the top? :\

It is the way of the future and you started this discussion eight months ago so I'm REALLY behind. I've updated my photo, changed my age, did some airbrushing and enrolled into straight acting school. If my imagination doesn't get me some action then I might as well be straight.
I blame Disney.
How to solve this problem?
Option A. Boycott Disneyland and become Buddhist.
Option B. Look in the mirror and realise that the sooner you accept your self as an imperfect being the happier/healthier you (and others around you) will be. Unfortunately this can't be taught but I will say that smiles are contagious.
